Prof. Said Easa
Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada
Biography:
Said Easa received the Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 1982.,He is currently a Professor with the Department of Civil Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, ON, Canada.,Prof. Easa mainly focus on Transportation Engineering; Automated Vehicle Planning and Control; Road Safety; Transportation Human Factors; Geometric Design. He was a recipient of numerous best paper and lifetime achievement awards from National Canadian and U.S. organizations for his works, including the Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering Award from ASCE, the Sandford Fleming Award from the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), and the Award of Academic Merit from the Transportation Association of Canada. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the Vice President of the CSCE. He was the Chair of several national conferences in Canada and the United States. He was the Leader of a CSCE delegation to China, a Speaker on a CSCE National Lecture Tour, and a Consultant for the World Bank. He has been an Associate Editor of the Journal of Transportation Engineering, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and the CSCE.


Prof. Changxi Ma

Biography:
Changxi Ma, PhD in Engineering, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Transportation, is also the Chair of the Technical Committee on Traffic Operations Safety of the World Congress of Transportation (2017-2019) and the Co-Chair of the Technical Committee on Traffic Safety Policy and Transportation Management of the World Congress of Transportation (2020-2022). He has published in Transportation Research Part B/E/F, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Analytic Methods in Accident Research, and Neural. He has published more than 50 SCI/SSCI papers in journals such as Transportation Research Part B/E/F, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Analytic Methods in Accident Research, Neural Computing and Application, Accident Analysis and Prevention, etc., and more than 40 EI papers in journals such as China Journal of Highway and Journal of Transportation Engineering. He has applied for 7 invention patents as the first inventor, and won more than 20 provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards; he has presided over 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and 3 scientific research projects of the Ministry of Education; in 2016, he was selected by the Organization Department of Gansu Provincial Party Committee as a "Longyuan Young Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent", and was selected for the "Hundred Talents Program" in 2019. In 2016, he was selected as "Longyuan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent" by the Organization Department of Gansu Provincial Committee, and in 2019, he was selected as "Hundred Talents Program".
